Cornelius Hunderfund

Cornelius (Tink) H. Hunderfund, 93, of Hawley PA< passed away on August 21, 2019. Predeceased by his parents Cornelius and Emma, brother Richard and son Donald. He is survived by his wife Eleanor, siblings Ronald (Jan), Brenda (Robert John Earle), sons Gary (Stephanie, William, and Kyle) and Brian (Judi, Rebecca) and Donald's children (Eliannah and Daniel) along with many nieces and nephews attended Pearl River High School, Clarkson College and graduated from Fort Schuyler Maritime College. Cornelius joined the Merchant Marine circumnavigating the world 4 times before returning back to Rockland County, NY, marrying Eleanor Scharmer and together raised their family in New City next door to close friends Curtis and Mary Haines. He retired to Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, PA where he spent 30 wonderful years with friends and family. Always an avid sportsman, he had many adventures across this country or just down the road. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his long and happy life at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F. Flynn and Brendan T.
