Edward Ford of Monroe, New York a retired Nuclear Plant Maintenance Supervisor for Con Edison in Buchanan, New York and a 34 year resident of Monroe, New York was born into eternal life on August 6, 2015 surround by his loving family. Ed lost his chronic battle with Asbestos. Ed was a parishioner of St Anastasia R.C. Church, Harriman, New York, he was an enthusiastic golfer since his retirement, and enjoyed many golf outings to Myrtle Beach with his golf buddies. Ed was also a Friend of Bill W for 35 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and is survived by his wonderful wife Margaret Ford at home. He is also survived by his children, Dolores DiVestea of Monroe, NY, Mary Ellen Sayegh and her husband Joseph of Cornwall on Hudson, NY, Edward J. Ford of Hamptonburgh, NY and Sean Ford of Chester. His cherished grandchildren John Sayegh with his wife Erica Lauffer-Sayegh, Joseph Sayegh, Megan DiVestea, Kristen DiVestea, Jennifer Sayegh and her fiancAC. 2nd Lt. Peter Wilcox, along with numerous brother and sister is laws, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his faithful dog Dixie. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 12 noon at St. Anastasia R.C. Church located at 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10925. Burial will follow at St. Anastasia R.C. Cemetery, Harriman, New York 10926. Memorial contributions in Ed's name to Boys Town Saving Children & Healing Families located at 14100 Crawford Street, Boys, Town, NE 68010, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
