Elaine Ladka September 6, 1938 - April 3, 2013 Monroe, New York No farewell words were spoken, no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Elaine was called by our Lord Jesus to eternal paradise on April 3, 2013. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was the rock of the family, devoted wife, loving mother, cherished Nana and beloved sister. Her family was everything to her. Born on September 6, 1938 daughter of the late Maximillian and Helen Cierzniewski. Elaine is survived by her loving husband Thomas of 52 years. Her four sons Michael and his wife Kimberly of Monroe, NY, Russell and his wife JoAnn of Walden, NY, Thomas and his wife Terri of Marshfield, MA, Matthew and his wife Charlotte of Central Valley, NY, and "5th son" Jay and his wife Nancy of Harriman, NY. Her cherished grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Ashley, Tom, Troy, Kellsey, Timmy, Katelin, Matthew, Craig, Christopher, Kelly Elaine, Nicole and Madison, along with her sister Marilyn Callan of Monroe, NY and her nieces Theresa Petrakis and Kathleen Witte and their families also survive her. You are gone but not forgotten, although we are apart your spirit lives within all of us, forever in our hearts. We will miss you so much, but we know you will always be with us as our personal guardian angel. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM and April 11, 2013 during the hours of 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11:30 AM St. Anastasia R.C. Parish Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman, NY 10926 with Fr. Michael F. Keane officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anastasia R.C. Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Therapeutic Day School through Network for Good at www.communitytherapeuticdayschool.org.
