Francis X, DiDomenico "Frank" Chester, New York Francis X. (Frank) DiDomenico of Chester, New York, a retired Parts Manager for Shortline Motor Coach Lines for 18 years and a 35 year resident of the area, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at his home. He was 85 years of age. The son of the late Joseph and Josephine Mecca DiDomenico he was born in 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. Frank was a member of the Chester Golden Age Club. He proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a true Patriarch of the family he instilled a sense of duty to Country and love of family to his children and grandchildren. He loved being surrounded by his family and never missed a party. Frank is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) Palazzone DiDomenico at home and their children, Joseph and his wife Diane DiDomenico of Monroe, New York, Linda and her husband Reed Booth of Oakland, NJ, Judi and her husband Marcelino Hill of Goshen, NY, Elizabeth Steinberg of Middletown, NY, Mary and her husband Jon Utter of Chester, NY, Pattie and her husband Steve Lord of Plantsville, CT. Frank is survived by his brother Joseph and his wife Mary DiDomenico of Blauvelt, NY and his sister Marion Mandra of Poughkeepsie, NY. Frank is also survived by his adoring 12 grandchildren; Aimee, Stacie, Christopher, Allison, Alexa, Cody, Tori, Courtney, Nikki, Kendra, Juliette and Trenton along with many nieces and nephews. Frank was pre-deceased by his brother Peter DiDomenico Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 10:00 at St. Columba R.C. Church 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918 with Fr. John Bonnici officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honor's at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
