George T. Kline, one of "New York's Bravest", passed away on January 27, 2021 unexpectedly at his home in Monroe. He was born, the only child, to Joan D. Kline (nee) Mulligan and the late George J. Kline in Queens, New York. He excelled in baseball in his youth and was forever a Yankees fan. He graduated from Queens Technical High School in Long Island City, New York. George and his wife moved to Monroe, New York in 1991. He was a Firefighter for 21 years and was part of the tragedy on 9/11. Following his retirement in 2003, he enjoyed the Arts. With his handiness, he volunteered his time to build sets for the Monroe Museum Village Theater. He loved cars and was part of the Mustang Club in Orange County, New York. With his helping hands, he embraced anyone in need and especially if they were a brother firefighter. He was also quick witted and made everyone laugh. George is survived by his beloved mother, Joan; his devoted wife, Marian; his esteemed children, Kelly, Samantha, David, and Steven; and his five grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given to the NYFD Foundation at https://www.fdnyfoundation.org/donate/. Funeral Arrangements and Cremation Care have been entrusted to Thomas & Brendan Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
