Gloria Bilcik

Gloria Bilcik Chester, NY Gloria Bilcik of Chester, New York, a homemaker and a 50-year resident of the area, died peacefully, at her home, on January 18, 2018. Gloria was 84 years young. Gloria was a very active member of St. Columba R.C. Church, St. Columba Ladies Auxiliary and the Chester Golden Age Club. Gloria was always proud of the fact that she was the Foster Mother, to 56 children in need. The only aspect of life bigger than her contagious laugh, was her love of children and animals. She was the widow of LT. Rudy Bilcik (NYFD). She is survived by her children Christopher, Debbie and Michael. Her grandson Bryce, Tyler and Owen, also survive her, along with her nephews John and Mike Muskus. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, during the hours of 1:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Columba R.C. Church located at: 27 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. Burial will follow at St. Columba R.C. Church Parish Cemetery, located on Route 94, in Chester, New York. Please note, the family has specifically requested that friends of Gloria and her family, do not send flowers.
