Harry Trojahn a retired Machinist for Abex Company in Mahwah, NJ and a longtime resident of Washingtonville, New York died peacefully on February 12, 2013 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, New York. Harry was 78 years of age. The son of Frank & Elizabeth Trojahn he was born on January 23, 1935 in Suffern, New York. Harry was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was active with the Meals on Wheels Program in the Washingtonville area. Harry was married to the former Joan A. Fleischman Trojahn, his wife pre-deceased him on August 3, 2011. He was a devoted husband, a caring father and cherished grandfather. Harry is survived by his children Cathy Haddock and her husband Tom. Tara Toohey and her husband Brian, Harry Trojahn, Jr and his wife Terry, Doreen Sheppard and her husband Willis, Scott Trojahn and his wife Dawn, Connie Leenheer and her husband Steve, and Mark Trojahn. His grandchildren Tara Sciulara and her husband Andrew, Kimberly, Kelly and Tommy Haddock, Christopher and Matthew Toohey, Harry and Brittany Trojahn, Jordan Sheppard, Brandon, Shawn and Matthew Trojahn and Billy and Stephanie Leenheer. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 during the hours of 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 and Saturday, February 16, 2013 during the hours of 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, 26 Hunter Drive, Highland Mills, NY 10930 with Fr. Gerard P. Travers officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Mary's R.C. Parish Cemetery, 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, New York 10992.
