James Predmore

James (Jim) Predmore of Middletown, NY died peacefully on Monday, November 26, 2018, Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, New York. He was 77 years of age. The son of the late Louis (Buckey) and Helen Predmore, he was born in Goshen, New York in 1940. Jim was employed by Highland Telephone Company for many years, as well at IBM until his retirement in 2006. He was also a Police officer for the Town of Chester for over 10 years. He proudly served his country with the US Army and National Reserve. Survivors include his wife, Maureen Predmore at home, his brother Deryl Predmore and his wife Josephine, along with his sister Susan Predmore. His wife Maureen Predmore survives him at home. He is further survived by his children Colleen Predmore and her husband Adam, his son James Predmore and his wife Aixa, stepsons David Madden and his wife Sandra, Jeffrey Madden and his wife Renee, Mark Madden, his stepdaughters Jennifer Martin and her husband Tom, and Jessica Brownstein. He has 12 grandchildren, Michael, Brianna, Marissa, Amber, Courtney, Kaylyn, Joey, Tyler, Patrick, Tommy, Danny, and Conor. His three great-grandchildren, Abigal, Ruth, and Emily along with his nephews Thomas and David Predmore and grand nephew Finn Predmore also survive him. A wake will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018, during the hours of 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday, November 30, 2018, from 11:00 AM to 12 noon at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 3 Hudson Street, Chester, NY 10918. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the family plot at St. Columba R.C. Church Cemetery located on Route 94 Chester, NY 10918 at 12:30 PM. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Valley View Rehabilitation Center for their kind and caring treatment of Jim. Memorial contributions in Jim's name to the Town of Chester Police Department would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F. Flynn and Brendan Thomas Flynn, Directors of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
