James R. Paddock

James Robert Paddock, Jr. Dingmans Ferry, PA former Harriman, NY Resident James Robert Paddock, Jr., a 10 year resident of Dingmans Ferry, PA and former Harriman, NY and Bergen County resident died December 16, 2012 at his residence. He was 85 years of age. The son of the late James and Esther O'Dell Paddock he was born in Middletown, New York on August 17, 1927. He was the widower of Patricia Hauck Paddock who died on October 26, 1999 He was a former member of the Mahwah Fire Department Company, serving in the District 4 Fardale Station Avenue Firehouse, where he served as Captain of the Department. James was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II and obtaining the rank of Seaman First Class. He is survived by his children James Robert Paddock, III of Dingmans Ferry, PA, his daughter Sharon Lee MacRoy of Dingmans Ferry, PA, son George Thomas Paddock of Harriman, New York, his brother Thomas C. Paddock of Whiting, NJ along with 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Private family viewing was held on December 19, 2012 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. Cremation followed at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10926 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Wallkill Cemetery 160 Midway Road, Middletown, NY 10941 with Military Honors by members of the United States Navy.
