Michelina Ferrante

Michelina Ferrante, a retired Professional Seamstress and a 43 year resident of Chester, New York died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Middletown Park Manor. She was 77 years of age, one day shy of her 78th birthday. The daughter of the late Mario and Anna Mariani, she born in Ripi, Italy in the year 1936. Michelina married Lino Ferrante on September 29, 1957 at Holy Rosary R.C. Church in Bronx, New York. Her family was her source of joy and fulfillment, she enjoyed family dinners and was always very proud in the fact, that she designed and created the wedding dresses of her daughters Tina and Nancy. Michelina was a member of Women's International Bowling Congress and a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Michelina was predeceased by her husband, Lino Ferrante and her brother, Dominick Mariani. She is survived by her daughters, Tina Marie Petrillo and her husband, Kenneth of Monroe, New York and Nancy Mele and her husband, James of Monroe, New York.; her grandchildren Nicolina, Alyssa, Brieanna, Courtnie, Paul, David and her one great-granddaughter, Gianna. She is also survived by her sister, Maria Fallone and her husband, Franco; her brother-in-law, Rizzerio Ferrante and wife, Sandra; her sister-in-law Yolanda Fallone; sister-in-law Theresa Mariani as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2014 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 PM on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Sacred Heart R.C. Church located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York. Entombment will follow at Saint Joseph Church Cemetery, located at 33 Cottage Street, Middletown, New York 10940. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
