Miriam Schneeberger

Miriam Ann Schneeberger passed away peacefully on March 15th, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. Miriam was born November 27th 1916 in the Bronx to the late Francis and Margaret Eble. She was the devoted wife to William Schneeberger who predeceased her 19 years ago. Her brother, Joseph, also predeceased her. Miriam is survived by her loving children, Rita and her husband, John Fox of Goshen, New York; Elaine and her husband, Robert Tito of Goshen, New York; William Schneeberger and his wife, Patricia, of Ghent, New York; Raymond Schneeberger and his wife, Laura, of New Fairfield, Connecticut. She so loved and was loved by her Grandchildren and Great Grands, namely, Kristen Rogan and her husband, Thomas and their son, Jake William; Jennifer Rogan and her husband, Paul and their children, Keira, Leah, Emma and Owen; John Fox and his wife, Allyson and their sons James and Matthew; Christopher Schneeberger and his wife, Holly and their children, Courtney, Kayleigh and Christopher; Nicole Seipp and her husband, Jamie and their children, Kassie, Cory and Madison; Jennifer Marjorie Schneeberger and James Kablesh; Robert Tito and his wife, Mindy and their daughters, Madison and Payton; Andrea Corey and her husband, Todd and their son, Hunter; Amanda Shortt and her husband, Tyler; Lindsay, Zachary and Gregory Schneeberger. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Marie, and cousin and friend, Virginia, as well as her nieces and their spouses and children. We, her family, want to convey our thanks to those who assisted her at Valley View Nursing Home for the last five months and to Flavia, a former home health care aide for her calming and loving care. Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma we know you are at peace. Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude's Children Hospital in lieu of flowers. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 during the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, located at 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, New York 10924. Father Peter will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Dover Plains, New York. The family has entrusted Thomas F. Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 3 Hudson Street, Chester, New York 10918 with the care and funeral arrangements for Miriam.
