Paul Jakaitis

Paul S. Jakaitis a 30 year resident of Blooming Grove, New York and a retired Engineer after 32 years of service for the Stewart Stamping Company in Yonkers, New York, died peacefully at his residence on August 23, 2012 with his loving family by his side. He was 63 years of age. Paul is the son of Genevieve and the late Edward Jakaitis; he grew up in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Eileen, and their children, Paul Jr., Michael and Jaclyn all at home. He is also survived by his three brothers Edward, Robert and Peter Jakaitis and his two dear cousins Thomas & Joseph Gregory, all who grew up in the same house, and his brother-in-law, cousin and best friend Vincent Januska, along with his many dear brother & sisters in law, whom he all loved. Paul is also survived by his 5 nieces and 8 nephews and 8 great nieces. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 during the hours of 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM and Sunday, August 26, 2012 during the hours of 2 to 4 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 27th at 10:00 AM at St. Columba R.C. Church, 29 High Street, Chester, New York 10918. Burial will follow at the Warwick Cemetery, Oakland Avenue, Warwick, New York. Memorial contributions in Paul's memory to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
