Ramona C. Barsuhn Monroe, NY Ramona C. Barsuhn, a long-time resident of Monroe, New York, died on July 5, 2019 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, New York. She was 67 years of age. Ramona had retired from the New York City Board of Education as an Assistant Principal, also after a long career as a teacher, both tenures spent in the Bronx. She was also a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Monroe, New York. The daughter of the late Roman and Sophie Sadowy, she was born in New York City in 1951. Ramona was predeceased by her husband, Ronald G. Barsuhn. Survivors include her daughters, Janelle Barsuhn and her significant other, Steven Gargano, of Central Valley, New York, and Justine Diaz, and her husband Kenneth, of Chester, New York; and her brothers Roman Sadowy and his wife Diane, and Richard Sadowy and his wife, Maureen. Ramona's beloved grandchildren, Aiva Marie, Mason and Branden Diaz; as well as many nieces and nephews, also survive her. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 during the hours of 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York, 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, New York 10950. Burial will follow in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, located at 141 Sarah Wells Trail, Campbell Hall, New York 10916. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
