Robert G. Beliveau, a 12 year resident of the Goshen area and former long time resident of Blauvelt, New York died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, New York. He was 87 years of age. A retired 30-Year officer with the New York City Police Department, Bob was born in St. Albans, New York to the late James and Frieda Beliveau in the year 1928. Bob was very proud of his career with the NYPD and the US Naval Air Force. He always had a funny, crazy story that he loved to tell. He knew everything about every random thing you could imagine. He loved his Daily News crossword puzzle, was unbelievable at Jeopardy and never missed "The Wheel". Bob loved being at "The Country House" surrounded by family. He was loved, admired and respected by all. Bob - Dad - Pop Pop - Uncle Bob, We love you so very much. You will be missed more than words could ever express! Bob was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Ann T. "Nancy" Beliveau as well as by his youngest child, Timothy Patrick Beliveau. May they all rest in peace together now in eternity. Bob is survived by his children, Anne; Robert (Cris); Kevin (Margo); James (Joanne); Jeanne and Maureen (Bryant) as well as his 10 grand children, Marc; Eric; Jon; Arielle; Mia; Sarah; Elise; Vincent; Anelise and Keara and his many loving and devoted nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by his brothers, Jimmy and Richard Beliveau. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 between the hours of 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Flynn Funeral and Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 12 Noon at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, located at 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery located at 36 West Nyack Road, Nyack, New York 10954.
