Ronald Francis Valentine of Middletown, New York a New York State Court Officer for the past 13 years in Newburgh and Goshen New York, and 40 year resident of the area died May 9th, 2013 in Key West, Florida as the result of an accident. He was 47 years of age. The son of Ronald and Theresa Valentine, he was born in Astoria Queens on March 4th, 1966. Ronald is survived by his parents of Slate Hill, New York. His aunt Noreen and her husband John Block, his aunt Catherine and her husband Bob Hill, and his cousins Kathy and Victoria Hill. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents Irene and her husband Frank Valentine, and Kashmir and his wife Anna Witowski. Ronald was a graduate of Minisink High School and attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City and Orange County Community College. Ronald was a member of the New York State Supreme Court Officers Association, a former member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 1, Joseph Duelk, Jr. Division One of Monroe, New York, and worked part-time as a Security Officer for Neiman Marcus at Woodbury Commons in Harriman, New York. "Ron loved his family and pet dogs Regal and Lela." Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2013 during the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 at 1:00 PM in St Anastasia's R.C Parish Church, 21 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10926 with Rev. Michael Keane officiating. Burial will follow at St. Anastasia's R.C Parish Cemetery, 10 North Main Street, Harriman, New York 10926. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F.
