Theresa M. Lombardi

Theresa M. Lombardi, beloved by all her family, was welcomed to her heavenly home by Lord Jesus on October 30, 2022. She passed at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ at 88 years of age.The daughter of the late Caroline and Joseph Ostyn, she was born in Jersey City, NJ.Theresa was married to Patrick C. Lombardi in 1958.
She was a graduate of Seton Hall University and proudly received her masters degree late in life from Fordham University.
A member of Sacred Heart Parish in Monroe, NY for 40 years, Theresa was extensively involved with CCD and other parish programs, the choir, and as a Eucharistic minister. More recently she had been a parishioner for several years at Assumption Church in Maybrook, NY where she was a member of the choir and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She enjoyed many years of traveling with the Woodbury Seniors, other groups and her family.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband Patrick and her son Patrick J. Lombardi.Survivors include her daughter Theresa "Terry" Boswell and her husband Ray, and son Michael Lombardi and his wife Valerie.
She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Andrew Boswell, Alexandra Boswell, Matthew Boswell and his wife Carly, and Patrick J. Lombardi, great-granddaughter Raelyn Boswell, sister Irene Knobloch and her husband Henry, brother Joseph Ostyn, and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10:00 am, in Sacred Heart R.C. Church located at 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY 10950.Theresa, a kind and generous soul, will be missed by family and friends. She will be laid to rest in Seamanville Cemetery in Monroe, NY alongside her beloved husband.
