Edna E. Schulz

Edna E. Schulz, a longtime and cherished resident of Chester, New York, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at Sapphire Health Care Facility in Goshen, NY.  She was 84 years old.

Edna lived a life rooted in faith, service, and devotion to those she loved most. Above all, her greatest joy and proudest achievement was her Family; she was a loving, dedicated mother whose warmth, guidance, and unconditional love shaped her children's lives.

A devout and active parishioner of St. Columba R.C. Church, Edna gave generously of her time and heart to her parish community, particularly through her dedicated service with the Ladies Auxiliary.  Whether organizing parish events, helping neighbors, or sharing fellowship, she embodied the true spirit of quiet service and community care.

Per Edna's wishes, there will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass celebrating her life and faith will be offered on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at St. Columba R.C. Church, 27 High Street, Chester, N.Y. Interment of her cremains will take place privately at a later date.

Cremation care was provided at Oxford Hills Crematory under the immediate care and personal supervision of Brendan T. Flynn.

Edna's Family has entrusted her final care to the Flynn Family and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
