Elizabeth Anne Haddock

Elizabeth Anne Haddock (nee' Foley) of Highland Mills passed away on February 12, 2013, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was 82 years of age. The daughter of Corinne and Ralph Foley, she was born on December 11, 1930 in Coal Hill, Arkansas. As an infant, she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she resided for more than seven decades. A 1949 graduate of Will Rogers High School, she attended the University of Tulsa in the early 1950a??s; she married in November of 1955. From the 1950a??s to the 1970a??s, she worked as a legal secretary. In 2007 she and her husband moved to Highland Mills, NY. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Benjamin Haddock of Highland Mills; daughters Nancy Lavon of Highland Mills and Lisa Haddock of Ringwood, NJ and her grandchildren Alexander Lavon of Hamilton and Nicole Lavon of Highland Mills; and a brother Robert Foley of Henderson, Nevada. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday February 18, 2013 at the Historic Sanctuary of Goodwill Church, Montgomery, NY at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family request memorial contributions in lieu of flowers be made to the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY (www.foodbankofhudsonvalley.org) or to a local Food Pantry in your area.
