Ernest Steinsdorfer

Ernest Steinsdorfer, a 65-year resident of Park Ridge, NJ, passed away on August 30, 2025, at 88 years of age. 

The son of the late Aloise and Goergette Steinsdorfer, he was born in Belfort, France, on June 23, 1937.

Ernest worked as an architect for Burns & Roe Associates in Oradell, NJ, for 35 years.

He was a member of the United States Army National Guard. 

Ernest enjoyed cooking, fishing, golfing, driving his sports cars, attending antique shows and auctions, spending time with his family, and vacationing in New York State. 

Ernest is survived by his loving wife, Anita Steinsdorfer; their daughter, Lisa Miller (Steinsdorfer) and her husband, Tom Miller; their son, Robert Steinsdorfer and his wife, Stephanie Steinsdorfer; and their grandchildren, Ryan Miller, Emma Miller, and Brett Steinsdorfer.

He was predeceased by his brother, Bernard Ganz, his brother-in-law, William Meyer, and his sister-in-law, Hope Meyer. 

Cremation services will be provided under the direct supervision of Brendan Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY. 

The family entrusted Ernest's care to the Flynn family and the Flynn Funeral & Cremation Centers staff.
