Fannie V. Lowther

1952 — March 26, 2025

Middletown, NY

Fannie Victoria Lowther AKA "Vicky" was born on May 29, 1952 to Geraldine Lowther Dade and Willie Dade Sr. in New York City. Vicky attended Louis D Brandeis High School but ended up getting her GED, attending Pace University and being the very first in her Family to Graduate College. She set the bar high for all of us and she led by example.

Vicky met her Soulmate at the ripe young age of 16; Henry L. Miller Jr. Together they had 1 child; Showaun A Lowther. Vicky worked full time in the Financial Field during the day, attended Pace University at night, while simultaneously helping her mother care for her younger siblings and her own infant child. She wore a lot of hats and she wore them well because she never skipped a beat when raising her daughter. She was always there through everything. They had an unbreakable bond and were the very best of friends.

Vicky was an amazing person who loved her family and friends beyond measure. She always wanted to make sure that her loved ones were OK, even when she wasn't. She would give her very last if it would help someone who needed it more than she did. Vicky was a devout Christian who loved her God above all else. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling and loved her puzzles and Solitaire.

Vicky battled a long illness. She was and still is a Warrior, literally the strongest person that I've ever known. She fought long and hard and that fight here on Earth ended on March 26, 2025 at 12:12 pm. Vicky gained her wings and danced her way through those Pearly Gates of Heaven into the loving arms of our God and all of our predeceased relatives.

Vicky leaves behind to cherish her memory: her Soul Mate Henry L Miller Jr, a daughter Showaun A. Lowther; Grandchildren Brandon and Janei Lowther and Alexarea Floyd; 3 Greatgrandchildren Kaysen Williams & Cadence and Celeste Floyd, Sisters Frances, and Lorraine Dade, Brothers Norman Dade Sr. and Carl Dade Sr, Nieces Tameka Dade, Tiffany Willis, Sharita Moore-Willis, Tiffany Richardson-Willis, and Iasia Ross, Nephews Norman Dade Jr, Carl Dade Jr, Dashawn Hinnant, Kyshawn and Divine Ross and a host of Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
