Guarky K. Mateo of Weehawken, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Medical Center in New York City.

A complete obituary honoring Guarky's life will be published on our website on December 16, 2025.  At this time, the Family wishes to share the following visitation information.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950.

Cremation care is being provided by Brendan & Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York.

Inurnment will take place at the Cemetery of the Highlands, Highland Mills, New York, at a later date to be announced.

The Mateo Family has entrusted the care of Guarky to the Flynn Family and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.

Family and friends are invited to leave a message of condolence or remembrance to be shared with the Family.
