Helen Duersch

Helen Ruth Duersch of Sarasota, FL, died on March 11, 2022.
She was 93 years of age.,
She was born in Papakating, NJ, on July 8th, 1928.
Ruth graduated from Chester High School, and Englewood Hospital School of Nursing, and went on to work as a surgical nurse for many years.
She was the daughter of the late Helen and Willard Utter, and was predeceased by her two brothers, Harold (Jim), and Ray Utter.
She was the devoted wife to her late husband, Dr. Ralph R. Duersch, and a loving mother to her two daughters, Carol Coombs (John), and Barbara Spencer (Eric).
She got great joy from spending time with her four grandchildren, Jessica and Shannon Spencer, and Justin and Nicole Goodwin, in addition to her many nieces and nephews.
Those who wish may send a remembrance to the Hospice organization of their choice.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, during the hours of 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950.
Interment will follow at Warwick Cemetery, located at 94 Oakland Ave, Warwick, NY 10990.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas and Brendan Flynn and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
