Joann Koepper

Joann Koepper, born in Avon Park, Florida, on March 31st, daughter of the late Lillie B. and Cleveland Dasher, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Joann loved her family, cooking, dancing, gardening, and sharing the bounty from her garden with friends and family.

Joann is survived by her husband, John Koepper; her children, Samuel Dasher, Priscilla Coleman, Cynthia Marshall and her husband Paul, Jonathan Coleman and his wife Tina, Kimberly Davis, Beverly Coleman, and Natasha Quackenbush and her husband Sean; her siblings Reagis Brown, Novella Green, and Susie McDermott and her husband Osbourne, as well as a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Joann was predeceased by her daughter, Deborah Dasher, and her siblings Juanita Jenkins, Vivian Thomas, Hazel Wilson, Geraldine Cockley, Fred Dasher, and James W. Dasher. 

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the countless ways she shaped our lives and in the stories that will continue to ripple through the generations.

A service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, July 13th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 468 NY-32, Wallkill, N.Y. 12589.

The family entrusted Joann's care to the Flynn family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.

Cremation care was provided under the direct supervision of Brendan Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY.
