John F. Cawley

John F. Cawley of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, at Valley Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey, surrounded by care and compassion.

The Family is currently making arrangements for a Memorial Mass to be celebrated at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, 905 South Maple Avenue, Glen Rock, New Jersey.  Interment of John's cremated remains at St. Raymond's Cemetery will follow at a later date.  Full details regarding the Memorial Mass and interment will be announced and shared on our website once finalized. As Family members will be traveling from Europe to gather in John's honor, there will be a brief delay in confirming these arrangements.

Cremation care is being respectfully provided by Brendan T. Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York.

The Family has entrusted the care of John to the Flynn Family and the dedicated staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.  The Family invites all who knew and loved John to share a memory or leave a message of condolence to be cherished and remembered.
