John Whitney Russ New City, New York John Whitney Russ of New York City, New York, died March 17, 2012 at The Friedwald Center in New City, New York. He was 46 years of age. The son of Diana Russ-O'Reilly, he was born July 21, 1965. Survivors include his mother, Diana Russ-O'Reilly and his stepfather, Harry O'Reilly of Monroe. He is also survived by his stepbrothers, Harry O'Reilly, Mike O'Reilly and Jim O'Reilly, as well as his stepsisters, Veronica O'Reilly, Berna O'Reilly and Laura O'Reilly. His uncle, Tim Russ, survives him as well. Private visitation was held. Cremation was held at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, New York.
