d. February 29, 2012

D. Joseph Moocz Chester, New York D. Joseph Moocz a loving husband, father, brother, and friend, started his immortal life on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the age of 65. For a total of forty-three years; thirteen of which were in New Jersey and thirty years in New York, he crafted custom fences. He began his life's adventures when he was 20 years old by escaping through the Iron Curtain from Hungary to freedom in the United States. He always felt blessed to have the opportunity that the United States gave him to become the successful man that he was. He left this life peacefully and painlessly, at home, surrounded by his family, hearing their loving words. He lives on in his wife, Elvira Moocz, who blessed him with three children during his lifetime: Joseph, Paul, Maria and her fiancAC., Mark. His spirit lives on in the next generation with two grandchildren, Eric and Rebecca. His brothers include Laszlo, Pal, and Zsigmond. His nephews include Kristian and Ervin and his nieces are Zsuzsa, Piroska, Monika, Nichole and Angelica. His friends are cherished and they provide countless memories of him. Remembering him is easy. His strength and vitality lives on in all those he spoke to. He walked into a room with a greeting and we instantly became a part of his world for a while. His genuine love for life was contagious. His love for the outdoors was only outweighed by his love for family and friends. He is beloved.
