Nancy L. (Conklin) Mallon, a 28-year Lord's Valley, PA resident, died on January 6, 2025, at Garnet Health Medical Center. She was 79.5 years old. The Daughter of the late Harold L. & Elizabeth Perry Conklin, she was born June 3, 1945, in Tuxedo, NY, US.
Nancy was born and raised in Southfields, New York, and was a member of the Country Club of the Poconos, Cliff Park Golf Club, Cricket Hill Golf Course, Eddy Farms Golf Course, and Stony Ford Golf Course.
Nancy's passion was playing golf and spending time with all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a four-time champ at Cliff Park Golf Club, a three-time champ at Country Club of the Poconos, and a ladies' champion at Stony Ford Golf Course. Golf was her passion as she played it often and with the tenacity of a true ladies' champion-even challenging most men.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Thomas Mallon Sr. of Lord's Valley, PA; her daughters, Irene Andujar of Milton, NY, Cheryl Mallon of Lackawaxen, PA, Diane Fox of Walden, NY, Rebecca Hall of Pulaski, NY; her sons, Thomas Mallon Jr and his wife Danielle of Wallkill, NY and Terrence Mallon and his wife, Shoix of Oconomowoc WI. Nancy is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, Kimberly (Irene); Kayla, Kyleigh, Coleman (Cheryl); Michael, Matthew (Diane); Caitlin, Kelsea, Joshua (Becky); Brandon, Cody (Thomas Jr); Brady, and Alana(Terrence). Nancy was predeceased by her granddaughter, Courtney Leigh Hall(Becky).
She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Michael & Hayden Houck; Madison & Colton Mallon, and Greyson Brow; her nieces and nephews, Cindy, David, Stephanie, Stephen; George, Erik, Susan, Tanya; Kristen, Andrea; Melissa, Vanessa, Jimmy; & Stacy. She was predeceased by her nephews Jason and Jeffrey.
Nancy L. (Conklin) Mallon had five Siblings. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth (Betty), and husband, George Langberg; her brother, John, and his wife, Bonnie Conklin; and her sister, Christine Oetzel (predeceased by her husband, Charlie). Nancy was also predeceased by her brothers, Harold (Jake) Conklin (survived by his wife Sandie ) and James Conklin (survived by his wife Joyce).
Brendan & Thomas Flynn of Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester, NY, immediately supervised Nancy's cremation.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 25, 2025, with visitation from 1:00 to 2:45 PM and a 3:00 PM Life Celebration at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe, New York 10950.
The family has entrusted Nancy's care to the Flynn Family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center staff.
