October 22, 1932 — June 4, 2015

Patrick J. Earley a retired Foreman of the Printing Press for the New York Daily News, the New York Times and the New York Post and a longtime resident of the area died on June 4, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill, New York. He was 82 years of age. Patty was born in County Roscommon on October 22, 1932 to John and Mary Ellen Earley. He was a member of the Joseph Duelk, Jr., Division 1, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Monroe, NY; the Washingtonville Knight of Columbus, Our Lady of Lourdes Council 5890, the Mt. Lodge Fire Company and was a Fire Police Captain. He also volunteered at Our Father's Kitchen at Sacred Heart Chapel. Patty was also the Head doorman at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., and was truly admired by all of his peers for the last 40 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his wife Mary at home, son Patrick J. Earley, Jr., a daughter Ann Earley and his beloved granddaughters Shannon, Maryna & Nicole. He is also survived by his siblings Elizabeth, Patricia, Ida, Terance, George and Lawrence, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was pre-deceased by his son John J. Earley, who died in 2012. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 during the hours of 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., located at 139 Stage Road, Monroe, NY 10950. The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Joseph Duelk, Jr., Division 1 shall conduct prayer services at 7:00 PM, the Knights of Columbus shall conduct a prayer service at 7:30 PM, and the Mt. Lodge Fire Department shall conduct Firematic services at 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church located at 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, New York 10992. Burial will follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church Cemetery 2 Fr. Tierney Circle, Washingtonville, New York 10992. Memorial contributions in Patty's name to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, would be appreciated by the family.
