In Loving Memory of Paul Leva

It is with deep sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Paul Leva, a longtime resident of Monroe, New York, who entered eternal rest on September 16, 2025, at 87 in the comfort of his home.

Paul worked as a mason and homebuilder for over 50 years.

The son of the late Emilio and Anna Leva, he was born on March 15, 1938, in Boville Ernica, Province of Frosinone, Italy.

Dear Dad,

Thank you for always being the steady foundation of our family. Through your example, you showed us what it truly means to be a man of character — working tirelessly, giving selflessly, and carrying yourself with quiet strength. You not only provided for us but also set the standard for kindness, integrity, and the unshakable importance of family.

Those lessons are woven into who we are today. Because of you, we know the value of love, loyalty, and putting others before ourselves.

We love you more than words can ever fully express, and we always carry your example with us.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Pauline Leva; their children, Frank (Frances) Leva, Paul Leva, Anna Maria (George) Slicker; their grandchildren, Isabella, George, Grace, Christopher, and Jack. He is also survived by his siblings, Linda (predeceased by her husband, Antonio) Leva, Sandy (Pete) Ferri, and Gina (Dominic) Sordilli. Paul was predeceased by his granddaughter, Angela Anna.

Funeral Mass Friday, September 19, 2025, 10:00 AM St. Columba R.C. Church 27 High Street, Chester, New York 10918.

Entombment to Follow 12:00 Noon Cedar Hill Mausoleum, 5468 US-Route 9W, Newburgh, New York 12550.

Important Note for Friday, September 19, 2025: Due to roadwork by the Village of Monroe, Stage Road will be closed for the day. Guests attending the funeral home are kindly asked to use the rear entrance via 20 Millpond Parkway, Monroe, NY 10950.
