Robin J. Walsh of Mount Hope died on July 27, 2023 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh, New York. She was 67 years of age.
The daughter of Robert and Geraldine Antonowicz, she was born in New Jersey.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Walsh, Sr., at home and their children Lauren Walsh Jennings and her partner Keith Henry of Otisville, NY, and Kevin Walsh, Jr., and his wife Mollie of Melrose, NY.
Her grandchildren, Taylor Rae Jennings, Keith Henry Jr., Ryleigh Paige Jennings, Blake Rose Henry, Teagan Marie Walsh, and Parker Jade Henry, and one grandson on his way, also survive her.
Robin leaves behind her siblings Robert Antonowicz, Michelle (Thomas) Agesen, Jennifer Antonowicz, and Anthony (Amynah) Maita, along with her cousin Lisa Rose Acoraci, Godmother Genevieve Acoraci, and stepmother Marcia Antonowicz.
Robin was a teacher for 35 years beginning in Mississippi and making a career at Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School, Port Jervis City School District.
Robin was an active member of Holy Name of Jesus Church R.C. Church in Otisville, NY and Orange County Right to Life. She volunteered as a religious education office manager for the parish and as a Girl Scouts troop leader.
The Walsh family will never forget the love, care, and assistance of Linda & Tim Quin, Rita Flynn, Pamela & Timothy Kraft, Diane Walsh Barberesi, Sandi Currier, Karen Fritzsch, Sister Nancy Elizabeth Doran, Pastor Peter Rustico, Jean and Frank Petela, Marilyn and Thomas Schaaff, and Steven Sherlock.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 45 Highland Avenue, Otisville, NY 10963 (845) 386-1320.
A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church. All are welcome.
