Saturnino “Junior” Feliciano, a longtime resident of Monroe, New York, passed away on June 6, 2026. He was born on May 4, 1935, to Saturnino Feliciano and Ines Colon Riera.
Known to many as Junior, he was remembered as the baby boy of the family, loved by his sisters Gloria and Anita Feliciano. As a young man, he dreamed of playing baseball for the New York Yankees, and for a moment, that dream came close enough to become part of family legend. An injury ended that path, but Junior carried with him the same determination, humor, and spirit throughout his life.
He went on to train and work in electronics, beginning his career with ITT, where he held a special clearance and worked on special projects connected to NASA. He later continued his career with Norelco/Philips Corporation and then Edax, where he became Facilities Director. He retired after 35 years with the company.
Junior moved to Monroe in 1969, where he raised his family and built a life rooted in work, home, and family. He enjoyed his garden, had a quick wit, and loved his homeland of Puerto Rico, where he visited often. Christmas in Puerto Rico held a special place in his heart, especially the music, food, family gatherings, and traditions he remembered so fondly.
He is survived by his wife, Monica Feliciano; his children, Daniel Feliciano and Laizer Marie “Lisa” Feliciano; his stepchildren, Maria Torres and Carlos Torres; his niece Marisol Feliciano, whom he loved as a daughter; his nephew Kevin Watson; and his grandchildren, Edwin Daniel Narvarte, Daniel Feliciano, Jaime Feliciano, and Julie Feliciano.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Cynthia Feliciano.
Junior will be remembered by those who knew him as hardworking, emotional, funny, proud, and deeply connected to his family. He will be missed.
Final Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Brendan T. Flynn, Thomas F. Flynn, and Megan Morales, Directors and Certified Cremation Specialists of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc.
