Stuart Patrick Mccarthy

Stuart McCarthy, 63, of Newburgh, NY, formerly of Newtown, died unexpectedly on Nov. 2, 2015, at St. Luke Hospital, Newburgh, NY. He was born Feb. 7, 1952, in Mt. Vernon, NY. He is survived by his mother, Marianne Muskus of Newtown; his brother, John McCarthy; his son, Stuart Jr.; grandson, Shane; his former wife, Lucretia Peluso of Norwalk; his sister-in-law, Eve McCarthy; and his uncle, Joseph. He was predeceased by his brother, Kevin. He enjoyed working out at the local gym. After his retirement as a truck driver six months ago, Stuart's greatest joy was spending time with his grandson, Shane. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services are private.
