Teresa Balzani-Mazzella

May 23, 1932 – June 28, 2026

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Teresa Balzani-Mazzella, who peacefully entered eternal rest on June 28, 2026, at the age of 94.

Teresa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Aldemaro Mazzella, and by her cherished son, Roberto Mazzella. Though she carried the sorrow of these losses, she remained a pillar of strength, grace, and unconditional love for her family.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Ivano Mazzella, and his wife, Cristina Mazzella.

Teresa was a proud and devoted Nonna to Miriam, Davide (Elena), and Marco (Valentina), children of her late son Roberto and his former wife, Rina. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Gloria Mazzella, Gabriele Mazzella, and Mia Lotta-Carver, children of Ivano and Cristina.

Her greatest joy in recent years was becoming a Bisnonna to her precious great-grandson, baby Enea, whose smile brought endless happiness to her heart.

Teresa will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, generosity, unwavering faith, and the deep love she gave so freely to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, compassion, and devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that Teresa is reunited with her beloved husband, Aldemaro, and her son, Roberto. Her love will remain with us always, living on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10 am at St. Anastasia RC Church, 21 N. Main Street, Harriman, NY 10926.
