Barbara: My friend, You were the sweetest gal in town.  Your infectious smile, laughter, and kindness will surely be missed. To have known you and be neighbors for all of these years was one of the most awesome relationships one could ask for.  I know that you will rest now, and look down  upon all of your loved ones.   I will think of you often with a smile for this is what you brought to me every time we chatted .  Forever in my heart, Philomena

I was blessed to have met Barbara on our multiple myeloma journey, sharing the same doctors and nurses at Columbia. My husband and daughter actually met her first at a support group meeting at the hospital the day I had my stem cell transplant. In these few short years, we bonded with empathy, support and love and our friendship was deep. We have made so many wonderful memories as part of the Fab 5, a small group of loving ladies sharing our journey with this incurable blood cancer. To say our hearts are broken is an understatement! She was so loved and dearly loved her husband, children, their spouses and most of all, her grandchildren. Always know how much she loved us all and will always live in your hearts. Rest peacefully . . . Until we meet again, my dear friend ♥
